How Devs & Designers collects, uses and protects information.Last updated: June 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Devs & Designers ("we", "us" or "our"), operating from Ontario, Canada, collects, uses and discloses personal information when you visit our website or engage with our services.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us — such as your name, email, phone number, company and project details — when you submit a contact form, book a consultation, or otherwise interact with us.

For electronics pickup inquiries, we may also collect pickup address, equipment descriptions, approximate quantities, access notes, timing preferences, and whether devices may contain sensitive or confidential information.

We may also collect limited technical information automatically (IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited) to operate and improve the site.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, deliver requested services, send project updates, improve our website, comply with legal obligations, and prevent abuse or fraudulent submissions.

Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers (such as email delivery, hosting and analytics) who help operate our business under appropriate confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

Where an electronics pickup request requires additional handling, transportation, recycling coordination, data wiping support or a third-party service, we may share only the information reasonably needed to review or perform that requested service.

Electronics and data-bearing devices

Clients are responsible for identifying devices that may contain personal, confidential, customer, employee or business-sensitive information before pickup. Any data wiping, destruction, chain of custody, or documentation requirements must be requested and agreed in writing before equipment is collected.

Cookies & analytics

We use minimal cookies for essential site functionality and may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic patterns. See our Cookie Policy for more.

Data retention

Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by Canadian law (including PIPEDA).

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@devsndesigners.com.
